Private details such as NRIC information, uploaded certificates, mobile numbers and full addresses will not be made public. They will be disclosed only when needed to provide our tutor-matching services to the relevant parties described below.
2. Information about tutors
A tutor is a person who registers with Swift Lab Tutors to receive tuition assignments.
Information relevant to matching, including qualifications, gender, experience and other profile details, may be shown to clients to support their selection. A tutor’s mobile number, full name or NRIC details will not be disclosed to a client before an assignment is confirmed.
For an application involving a tuition centre or educational institution, the tutor’s mobile number may be given to that centre or institution so that it can arrange an interview.
3. Website and technical information
When a client or tutor registers through our website, Swift Lab Tutors collects the information entered into the relevant form. Our web services may also record technical information supplied by your browser, such as an IP address, session identifier, pages visited and the date and time of the visit. This information may be used for research, security and improving the website experience.
4. Information about clients and students
A client is a person who asks Swift Lab Tutors to find a tutor.
Tuition requirements such as the general location, subject, lesson frequency and other non-personal assignment details may be shared with potential tutors so that we can identify a suitable match. A client’s full address and contact number will be given only to the tutor who has accepted the assignment after the lesson arrangement is confirmed.
5. Legally required disclosure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. However, Swift Lab Tutors may disclose information where a government authority, court or other organisation is legally entitled to require it.
